Markt Kabaal - Tinderdome

Amsterdam Coffee Festival

The Amsterdam Coffee Festival typically features over 100 artisan roasters, equipment makers, gourmet food stalls and more. Some of Europe’s best baristas look set to host workshops and tastings while Dutch and international acts will provide live music, entertainment and art.

Rolling Kitchens

The free Rolling Kitchens (or Rollende Keukens in Dutch) food festival sees dozens of mobile kitchens and food trucks pop up at Westergas to create one enormous open-air restaurant. You can lose hours just walking around this popular event sampling the multitude of cuisines on offer, including everything from Thai specialties through to Mediterranean tapas and Texan BBQ.

Milkshake Festival

Milkshake Festival is a multi-genre music festival in Amsterdam and has become a favorite of the capital. Milkshake Festival will return to Westerpark in Amsterdam in 2024. The Milkshake Festival is not just a dance festival, but one with a clear message where respect, freedom, love, tolerance and fun are of paramount importance.

Pluk de Nacht Filmfestival

For more than 20 years, you can enjoy the open-air film festival at the Stenen Hoofd in Amsterdam. This festival guarantees sultry summer evenings with the best films on the big screen, beach chairs, warm blankets, campfire and cocktails! This year, you can once again sit on a beach chair for the most beautiful films. A huge screen shows national and international feature films, documentaries, short films and animations that have not (yet) been shown in cinemas in the Netherlands.

Unseen Amsterdam

Unseen Photo Fair took place in Cultuurpark. This art fair, dedicated to the latest developments in contemporary photography, has been regarded as progressive, international and of institutional quality since its first edition.

Camera Japan Festival

CAMERA JAPAN Festival has grown into the largest Japanese film festival in the Benelux and attracts thousands of visitors every year. The festival is characterized by a very diverse program: in addition to feature films, documentaries and anime, attention is also paid to the many aspects of Japanese culture, including visual arts, music, dance and food.

Imagine Film Festival

Imagine Film Festival will return in the fall of 2024. With a festival period from the end of October to the beginning of November, the festival fits in better with the international calendar of 'fantastic films'. Hence, the organization expects to be able to offer a more robust and more up-to-date program in the autumn.

The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival

Tough stories, beautiful stories, old stories, moving stories, lectures, masterclasses, workshops and more, it's all covered during the International Storytelling Festival. The festival will return to Podium Mozaïek in the first week of November 2024.

Funky Xmas Market

It’s already well on its way to becoming an institution in Amsterdam, and in December, the Sunday Market, an art, fashion and design market at Westergasfabriek where designers, artists and other creatives sell their wares directly to the public, gets festive with the Funky Xmas Market.
